About the University of King's College
The University of King's College is Canada's oldest university, known nationally and internationally for the quality of its programs in the humanities and journalism. King's offers an interdisciplinary approach to learning, which engages students' individual interests.
This creates a unique and rewarding academic experience, with some unique features. Entering students are welcomed each year with a matriculation reception, a formal meal is held each week, and some of our student societies originated in the 19th century.
With a total student population of about 1,200, you'll benefit from the close interactions between fellow students and profs, and personalized attention. Our intimate campus environment is enhanced with the resources and faculty of neighbouring Dalhousie.
